An “International External Advisors” is a selected leading academician who has wide experience and expertise in his/ her field.
The External Advisors will be required to visit the University at least once a year for the following purposes:
- To review and comment on the assessment standards applied for the related programme. This will cover the assessment criteria for each course, the standards of the examination paper set for students and the examination procedure applied.
- To review and comment on the standards of the curriculum implemented for the particular programme in relation to international standards, current and future trends.

To review and comment on the standards of teaching and learning approaches used for the related programme. This will cover the methods of delivery adopted, the content and facilities used for the delivery of the
lecture based courses, the laboratory facilities used for the
practical based course and the implementation of the industrial training programme. This will also include the academic manpower requirement in
educational delivery system.
- To report to the Academic Committee on the findings of the above.
