The Foundation Programme is conducted for students who have successfully completed their SPM or other level that is equivalent to SPM. The Foundation Programme is a complete academic programme that provides students with the basic knowledge and necessary skills relevant to the respective degree programmes. It is tailored towards degree programmes in either engineering, technology, science or management.
Programme Educational Objectives (PEO)
To produce students who are committed to lifelong learning, with the ability to apply fundamental knowledge and skills, communicate effectively, display good values in pursuing education in engineering, technology, science, or management by harnessing inter-disciplinary potentials to address real-world challenges.
Programme Learning Outcomes (PLO)
At the end of the programme, students should be able to:
- Apply relevant fundamental knowledge and analytical skills for problem solving.
- Analyse data for management of information.
- Communicate ideas effectively.
- Demonstrate good values by fostering lifelong learning.
- Recognise the need for engaging in inter-disciplinary learning.
