TAZU Academic Grant is a top-up based financial assistance available to all UTP local Muslim student offered to help students cater for 1 year academic and hostel fees.
1. FOUNDATION
- Academic Fees up to RM10,200 (After deducting amount from PTPTN or equivalent as per invoice)
- Academic and Hostel Fees of up to RM16,662 (Remaining balance of tuition, and annual fees after deducting amount from PTPTN or equivalent)
2. UNDERGRADUATE
- Academic Fees up to RM9,279 (After deducting amount from PTPTN or equivalent as per invoice)
- Academic and Hostel Fees of up to RM16,641 (Remaining balance of tuition, and annual fees after deducting amount from PTPTN or equivalent)
GENERAL REQUIREMENT:
- Local Muslim Student
- Fulltime UTP Student and active for Current Semester
- No Displinary Records (Syariah, Criminal or UTP)
- GPA and CGPA 2.00 and above
- Per Capita income of below RM3,243
Per Capita income = Household Income / No of Dependents (includes both parents, siblings who are still studying and unemployed, or other dependents who are living in the same house (e.g,grandparents and relatives with no income and ability to earn)
COMPULSORY DOCUMENTS TO BE UPLOADED :
- Copy of Applicant's Identification Card
- Copy of Applicant's Student Card
- FOR NEW STUDENT ONLY - Copy of Applicant's Academic Qualification (to show your last GPA and CGPA prior to your January 2024 semester enrolment)
- Copy of Sponsorship Offer Letter (for students other that TAZU Full Foundation and TAZU Academic Grant recipients)
- Copy of Divorce/ Death Certificate (If applicable)
- Copy of both Parent's Incomme Statement as listed below:
- Salary Slip OR
- Pensioner Statement for parents retired from government sector (DownloadStatement)
- EA form or Statutory Income Declaration Letter endorsed by either Village Head / Commissioner of Oath / Grade A Officer at your respective for parents retired from private sector or self-employed or unemployed or housewife parents (https://bit.ly/TAZU-DeclarationForm)
For your application to be successful, both your parents income statement must be dated 2023 onwards (October/ November / December)
