Robotics Empowerment Programme 2024
The Robotics Empowerment Programme is a forward thinking initiative in micro robotics, developed to enhance teaching and learning in alignment with the demands of 21st century education.
Launched in 2023, the programme has been systematically expanded across schools in Malaysia following a directive from the Ministry of Education Malaysia. It is designed to nurture technological advancement, unlock students’ potential and strengthen their preparedness for today’s digitally driven educational landscape.
By combining theoretical knowledge with practical robotics projects, the programme enhances STEM capabilities, fosters problem solving skills, encourages creativity and promotes collaboration among both primary and secondary students.
Key Focus Areas
Encouraging STEM Learning
Students gain hands on experience in building and programming robots, which sharpens creativity, critical thinking and problem solving skills. This initiative is supported by the Educational Resources and Technology Division, Ministry of Education Malaysia.
Supporting Independent and Equal Learning
In line with SDG 4: Quality Education, the programme ensures equal access by providing all students with opportunities to explore robotics directly, promoting self learning and inclusivity.
Building Teamwork Skills
Through group-based projects, students cultivate teamwork, communication and collaborative innovation skills, preparing them to thrive in real-world scenarios.
