Amyra joined Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS on 4 January 2016 and was appointed as Manager, Legal Affairs at the Legal, Governance, Assurance and Risk Division effective 1 May 2025. She holds a Bachelor of Laws with Honours from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia and a Postgraduate Diploma in Administration of Islamic Judiciary and Legal Practice from the same university. Prior to joining UTP, she undertook pupillage at Messrs Zain & Co, focusing on conveyancing and corporate matters, and subsequently served for two years as an Assistant Parliamentary Draftsman at the Attorney General’s Chambers. She was called to the Malaysian Bar on 15 May 2015 and later practiced as a Legal Associate at Messrs Tay Ibrahim & Partners, where she gained further exposure to corporate and legal advisory work
