UTP to Transform Student Management with Tribal

Tribal is pleased to announce that the Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP) has chosen its SITS:Vision student management information system (MIS) to transform the University’s admission to graduation processes.
Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP), established in 1997, is one of the most prominent private universities in Malaysia. UTP offers a wide range of industry-relevant engineering, science and technology programmes at undergraduate and postgraduate levels and aims to produce well-rounded graduates with excellent leadership qualities and communication abilities.

UTP is the first in the country to adopt the student management solution, and is revolutionising best international practise by streamlining the student journey processes for graduates and for university administrators alike.

The deal was formalised at a prestigious signing ceremony that took place at UTP on 16 February 2016. The ceremony was attended by over 50 guests including, Datuk Ir (Dr) Abdul Rahim Hashim, Vice Chancellor of UTP and Brandon Gore, Global Implementation Director at Tribal Education Limited & Tribal Group (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd.

UTP has over 8,500 students (from over 60 different countries) undertaking their studies at the ground breaking engineering, technology and science institute. The university is keen to make their processes more efficient and easier to manage so that students can concentrate on their educational experience rather than application, enrolment or support issues. The university’s staff are also excited about being able to handle information more easily and view intelligent MIS data at a glance.
