The software donated by IHS will be used by students and staff in its Geosciences and Petroleum Engineering Department for extensive production optimisation as well as seismic and geological research development.
UTP Vice Chancellor said the donation initiative will pave the way for value realisation in UTP in terms of enriching student experiences, improving research capabilities, achieving operational excellence and academic delivery. “It will also empower UTP to meet today’s education industry needs while anticipating tomorrow’s innovation. With this new platform, there will be increased productivity and customer satisfaction which sets UTP in the path of becoming a prominent private university,” he said.
