This is a very significant step for UTP, both in the field of research and to achieve its goal of becoming an internationally recognised research university.

The collaboration will further strengthen UTP’s international affiliation and bring two excellent institutions of higher learning together, working in different areas such as staff and student exchange programmes and internships. Double degree programmes, PhD joint supervision and visiting professors will also be features of this collaboration.

The groundwork to establish this partnership started last year with a visit by UTP delegates to Institut Image of Arts et Metiers ParisTech in Chalons sur Saone.  Subsequently, UTP sent two more delegates, one to Arts et Metiers ParisTech in Anger and the other, once again, to Chalons sur Saone.  As a result, UTP concluded an agreement for several research joint supervision with Arts et Metiers ParisTech.
