Pertandingan Debat Ala Parlimen Antara Universiti-universiti Malaysia 2008 - UTP Emerged Chamipon (21 - 25 Aug 2008)
UTP Debate team participated in the “Pertandingan Debat Kemerdekaan Ala Parlimen Antara Universiti-universiti Malaysia 2008” organized by Arkib Negara Malaysia in collaboration with Majlis Debat Universiti-Universiti Malaysia (MADUM). This competition was held from the 21st until 25th August 2008 at Universiti Malaysia Terengganu (UMT) involving 24 universities.
Once again, the UTP Debate Team has made UTP proud by emerging CHAMPION in the competition by beating UPSI. The team was also awarded a prize money of RM5,000.00. The event was also reported in the local newspapers today (26/8/08 - Utusan Malaysia & Berita Harian).
