HEP-IPTS Friendship Games 2008 (26 Jul 2008)
UTP contingent (comprising of 46 local students and 12 International students –from Egypt, Uzbekistan & Mozambique) took part in the Friendship Games which was held at Multimedia University (MMU) Cyberjaya on the 26th July 2008. This carnival was organized by the Sekretariat HEP-IPTS and was participated by 20 IPTS around Malaysia. The opening ceremony was officiated by YB.Dato’ Seri Mohamed Khaled b. Nordin (Minister of Higher Education).
Achievements of the UTP contingent in the carnival are as follows :
Swimming - 3 GOLDs + 2 SILVERs + 2 BRONZEs
Netball - SILVER
Basketball (M) - SILVER
Tennis (team) - SILVER.
