The UTP Shop is now open, offering a dedicated space for the campus community to purchase official UTP merchandise.
The opening was held as part of UTP’s 29th anniversary celebration and was officiated by Ir Mohamed Firouz Asnan, UTP President. The event was attended by staff and students, as well as members of the Presidential Council, and marked another milestone for the university while reflecting the strong sense of community on campus.
More than just a retail space, the UTP Shop also supports creativity and entrepreneurship within the university. It provides opportunities for UTP alumni and students registered under the Technopreneurship Department to showcase and sell their own merchandise, giving them a platform to gain exposure and real-world experience.
The shop carries a range of items including apparel, caps, stationery, bags, drinkware and other everyday essentials. Designed for daily use, the merchandise reflects UTP’s identity and campus life, making it suitable for students, staff, alumni and visitors.
Several activities were held for the campus community in conjunction with UTP’s 29th anniversary, including a majlis bacaan Yasin and doa selamat, a photo booth session, and the distribution of ice cream to staff and students.
The UTP Shop operates daily from 10.00 am to 5.00 pm and welcomes members of the campus community to drop by and explore the available merchandise.
