UTP continues to make its mark on the global stage.
At the Accounting for Sustainability International Case Competition 2026 (A4SICC 2026), Team ECOETIC, secured Best Team Under Pressure and People’s Choice Award (Global Vote).
Team members: Batrisyia Azhar, Nur Iffah Batrisyia Sani, Ahmad Ammir Harees Ahmad Azimi, Nur Amalia Izzati Mohamad Azni, and Aerill Danial Ronalan, all first-year Bachelor of Computer Science students.
UTP also celebrates Team DOMO, with Nur Amalia Izzati representing the team, for securing the Best Accounting Bissim Simulation Award.
Competing among 535 students from 89 universities across 31 countries, the team demonstrated how strong technical foundations, combined with interdisciplinary thinking, can be applied to real-world sustainability challenges.

UTP also acknowledges the valuable support from the PETRONAS Corporate Sustainability team, particularly Ms Charlotte Wolff-Bye, Ir Siti Rafidah Moslim, Ms Wan Nurul Izza and Mr Yap Hee Loong whose contributions strengthened the team’s preparation.
