Chief Financial Officer
Fairus Neeza Mohd Fauzie is the Chief Financial Officer of Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP), bringing over 20 years of experience in corporate planning, finance, and governance. She began her professional journey at UTP in 2007 in Corporate Planning before transitioning to Finance in 2012, where she held various roles spanning financial accounting, planning, budgeting, performance reporting, and risk management. She was also involved in the establishment and initial operations of Yayasan UTP.
Appointed as CFO in 2023, Fairus is responsible for overseeing the university’s financial management, procurement, financial performance, and long-term financial sustainability strategies.
Prior to joining UTP, Fairus began her career with Arthur Andersen in 2000 and subsequently with Ernst & Young Tax Consultants, where she was engaged in statutory and internal audits, tax advisory, and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance audits for clients across diverse industries in Malaysia and the Asia-Pacific region. In 2004, she expanded her experience into entrepreneurship, venturing into business consulting and the F&B sector. Fairus holds a Bachelor of Business in Accounting from Queensland University of Technology, Australia.
