National Wu Do Championship 2013 (29 – 30 June 2013)
Khairul bin Anuar and Aqil bin Muhammad Yusof, did the University proud when they took home 3 gold and 1 bronze medal at the 2013 National Wu Do Championship held from 29 to 30 June 2013 at Ji Shang Multipurpose Hall, Kuala Lumpur.

Wushu is both an exhibition and a full-contact sport derived from traditional Chinese martial arts. Organised by Wushu Federation of Malaysia and Wu Do Academy of Malaysia, this national level Wushu competition serves as a build up to the grand National Wushu Championship which will be held in September 2013. UTP sent 2 athletes, Khairul and Aqil (both from Petroleum Engineering programme), who successfully won medals in all the categories they contested. Khairul was also named as the Best Male Athlete in the competition.
