Annual Oil & Gas Career Awareness Seminar 2008 (10 Aug 2008)
UTP Alumni in collaboration with Society of Petroleum Engineers Kuala Lumpur Chapter (SPE-KL) had successfully organised the inaugural Annual Oil & Gas Career Awareness Seminar which was held on Sunday 10th August 2008 at UTP Undercroft. The objectives of this seminar were to create awareness among the graduating students on their choice of career in Upstream and Downstream businesses and to have a discussion session with alumni and Society of Petroleum Engineers. In addition, this is also part of UTP Alumni’s continuous effort in contributing to UTP students as well as in promoting UTP Alumni to our prospective members.
More than 100 students participated in this half-a-day seminar, which consists of five informative talks from professional guest speakers from the reputable companies, namely PETRONAS, ExxonMobil, Baker Hughes and Delcom Services Sdn Bhd.
