CSIMAL is responsible for the industrial internship programme in its entirety, from the planning, management and implementation to internship curriculum development, assessment and grading. Our annual task is to manage and monitor the placement of some 1200 students with approximately 400 host companies and more than 300 supervisors from industry and UTP academic departments. CSIMAL fosters and sustains effective working relationships and good rapport with industries at national and international levels.
CSIMAL plans, manages and executes the Student Mobility Programme (SMP) for both undergraduate and postgraduate students. It is our responsibility to ensure that all processes and procedures are smoothly implemented without compromising the quality of academic delivery and research, while also meeting the stringent accreditation requirements of the QS rating and ranking system as well as that of SETARA, D’SETARA & MyRA.
UTP regularly invites industrial practitioners to deliver lectures and share experiences with the students through the Adjunct Lectureship Programme (ALP). CSIMAL coordinates the selection and appointment of all Adjunct Lecturers for all academic departments.
