FOREWORD BY RECTOR

I am pleased to welcome you to Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS.

Since its inception the University has been emphasizing on the provision of high quality education to ensure that students will develop their potential to the maximum.

Our programmes are specially designed in collaboration and consultation with the relevant industry authorities and professional bodies. All degrees awarded by the University have received accreditation and recognition by the National Accreditation Board, Malaysian Board of Engineers and Public Services Department. Also accreditation emphasis is made towards postgraduate studies as well as R&D work.

The University has also taken great care in providing academic and infrastructure facilities and services to our students to ensure a conducive learning environment and that they would have a long lasting memory of University life.
