REO
Research Enterprise Office (REO) is established to facilitate and promote the university research development. These would include managing both research and consultancy projects in terms of their submissions, progress performance, financial allocation and utilization and human resources management. The office is also expected to fulfill requirements made by university researchers, attend to and appropriately channel requests made by external clients, and continue meeting the future needs of the university R&D to include intellectual property requisition management and commercial exploitation of technology.
The university key R&D activities are executed based on strategic directions established in UTP R&D and Consultancy Master Plan endorsed by the University Senate and Board of Directors. The office is also responsible to R&D advisory committee called Research Strategy Committee (RSC).
