EDUCATIONAL VISIT TO PRICE WATERHOUSE COOPERS

4^TH MARCH 2008

 

On the 4^th March 2008, 24 UTP students (comprising of BIS & ICT students), accompanied by En. Muhamad Farizal (counsellor) from SSSD, went on an educational trip to Price Waterhouse Coopers (PwC), an auditing firm situated in Kuala Lumpur, where they attended a career talk and office tour around their facilities. Students were given briefings on the available job and internship opportunities in the firm and interested students were encouraged to submit their applications / resumes as soon as possible. Some even submitted them at the end of the programme.

Students were also taken for a tour to the offices and facilities in order to experience the working atmosphere / environment in the firm. PwC (namely Mr. Chuen Yong, a senior partner in the firm) was pleased with the enthusiasm and interest shown by our students (especially during the Q&A session) and is willing to have the same or related programmes in the future.
