EDUCATIONAL TRIP TO THAILAND - TRANS THAI - MALAYSIA (TTM) & PRINCE OF SONGKLA UNIVERSITY (PSU)

Nurturing and producing well-rounded & highly competent graduates have always been a priority in UTP. Students’ involvement in various levels of activities / events / programmes has been very much encouraged in order for them to enhance their soft skills and acquire the necessary attributes. Major activities have been carried out successfully throughout the year which included TEC, ConvoFair, MAP and Career Summit for Future Malaysian Leaders (CASFUMAL 08). The huge success of CASFUMAL 2008 which received positive feedbacks from the participating companies (AirAsia X, SHELL, SCOMI, Agilent, MOTOROLA, NadiCorp etc.) as well as MOHE was a true testimony of the dedication, commitment and capabilities of our students in their journey towards achieving well-roundedness.

Therefore as a token of appreciation from the University, the CASFUMAL 2008 committee members (involving 32 students & 3 staff members) went on an international educational trip to Thailand (31^st October – 2^nd November 2008) which was organised by the committee members themselves in collaboration with the Student Support Services Dept. (SSSD). The highlight of the trip was the visit to the Trans Thai-Malaysia (Thailand) Limited Gas Separation Plant (TTM) and Prince of Songkhla University (PSU).......more
