PERADUAN MEMBACA PUISI ANTARA KAUM PERINGKAT INSTITUSI PENGAJIAN TINGGI 2007

UTP Poetry Group managed to obtain THIRD placing in the recently concluded Peraduan Baca Puisi Pelbagai Kaum Peringkat Institusi Pengajian Tinggi 2007, which was organized by Dewan Bahasa dan Pustaka Malaysia. The prizes for the third placing include RM 2000.00, trophies and certificates.

 

Details of the competition are as follow:

 

                   Date                      : 12^th September 2007 (Wednesday)

                   Venue                    : Auditorium Dewan Bahasa & Pustaka, KL.

                   Participating teams : 6 teams (Champions of each zone) - *UTP qualified as Champions of Northern Zone

                  Overall Results        : CHAMPION   -          UiTM Sabah.

                                                  SECOND         -          Kolej Profesional MARA, Selangor.

                                                  THIRD            -          UTP.

                                                  Consolation    -           UiTM Sarawak.

Institut Perguruan Kota Bharu.

Kolej Yayasan Melaka.

* At the zonal level, UTP emerged as Northern Champions and took home RM 1,000.00 and certificates which was held on the 27^th July 2007 at UniMap Perlis.
