Dear Returning Students.

Kindly be informed that you are required to fully adhere to the H1N1 Influenza Announcement issued by our Rector, YBhg. Datuk Dr. Zainal Abidin B. Hj. Kasim. The management wishes to reiterate that only Influenza-Like-Illness (ILI) free - symptom students are allowed to comeback and register at the Main Hall as per schedule in the H1N1 Influenza Announcement. Students who are still with ILI symptom shall seek medical treatment at nearest government or private clinics/hospitals, and advised to comeback at UTP upon obtaining confirmation as healthy personnel.

All students are required to fill-up Health Declaration Form at Main Hall (during office hours), at Security Main Entrance (after office hours) and simultaneously be screened for ILI symptom. Students who are detected as ILI symptom will be sent to UTP Health Center for further treatment. They will be quarantined if found with ILI symptom. Students who are detected as ILI free- symptom either during registration or at UTP Health Center will be given a “Health Screening Card” to identify their status. They shall keep this card with them at all times, and subjected to spot check by UTP security personnel and staff at any time and place. Failing which to show this card upon request, the management can take disciplinary actions against the student. It is our greatest hope for all students to comply with this safe practice in order for all of us to inhibit this pandemic.
