The music band competition Euphonious 2012 was successfully held on 16 June 2012 at the Chancellor Hall, Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS. The theme “Music Revolution Elevated” was chosen for its 7th year anniversary. The event was organised by the Co-Curriculum Unit, Student Support Services Department and International Culture Club Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS.
 
Euphonious 2012 is an inter-university musical band competition participated by 19 musical bands including 2 musical bands from UiTM Pematang Pauh and Kolej Profesional MARA, Bandar Melaka. The main objective of organizing Euphonious is to provide students from all institutes of Higher Education in Malaysia the opportunity to showcase their talents in performing arts. It is also to dissolve barriers among students in order to create a more harmonious and enjoyable environment.
