The focus of this programme is on the exploration phase, its development and production. Career Prospects
Petroleum Geoscience graduates normally predicts the occurrences of oil and gas by using geological and geophysical data including well logging and remote sensing. Petroleum Geoscience will be dealing with a certain amount of data which need to be interpolate and extrapolate in recommending the best plan of action in managing a reservoir. Besides in oil and gas industry, petroleum geoscience graduates are also involved in many different types of jobs such as in mining companies, service companies, institutions for the environment, site investigation and academic institutions.
