Introduction
The focus of this programme is on the application of engineering principles to the design, development and manufacturing of mechanical devices and systems. The curriculum will teach students to be creative and innovative in design analysis and operation management of mechanical design systems.

To produce well-rounded graduates withe the following outcomes :

Career Prospects
Mechanical engineers are employed in various industries such as the automotive and manufacturing industry. The job involves among other, designing of mechanical components and devices, supervising as well as maintaining production. Mechanical engineers are also in demand in the oil & gas sector, and power related industries.
