Theory, analysis and design techniques of circuits have led to proliferation of systems for various applications, such as biomedicine, power electronics, communication engineering, giga-scale systems and nanotechnology. These systems have undergone tremendous advancement with the availability of increased processing power, more efficient algorithms and artificial algorithm.
The Electrical & Electronic Engineering Department, Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP), in collaboration with Circuits & Systems (CAS) Chapter of IEEE Malaysia Section, is proud to organize ICIAS2007. This conference aims at bringing together experts and researchers on advanced and intelligent systems to discuss their research work and development acivities.
Accepted papers will be presented in oral or poster sessions. Authors are encouraged to submit original, unpublished work in the following (but not limited to) areas :
| Theory & Systems | Analog & Digital Systems |
| Neural Networks & Systems | Sensory & Control Systems |
| Artificial Intelligence | Communication Systems |
| Computational Methods | Image Processing & Multimedia Systems |
| Non-linear Circuits & Systems | VLSI & Embedded Systems |
| Signal Processing | Biomedical Systems |
| Wavelet & Filter Banks | Power Electronic & Power Systems |
A 3-page extended abstract, including title, author’s names, affiliations and e-mail addresses is requested. The abstract should consist of a brief introduction, rationale, approach/methodology, results/expected findings of the work undertaken and a list of key references. Extended abstracts must be submitted electronically in PDF format through Paper Submission Tool.
Proposals for hands-on, interactive sessions within the interest areas of ICIAS2007 are solicited and should be submitted directly to the Secretariat at icias2007@petronas.com.my. Interactive sessions will be held on Day 1 (Sunday, 25th November).
