ICCIS 2012 is organized by Computer & Information Sciences Department of Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP). The primary goal of the conference is to promote research and development activities in Computer Science, Information Technology and Information Sciences. The secondary goal is to promote the exchange of scientific information between researchers, developers, engineers, students, and practitioners from around the world. The conference will be an ideal platform for researchers to share views and experiences in information, computing techniques and other related areas.
ICCIS2012 is technically co-sponsored by IEEE Malaysia Section Computer Chapter.
All papers will be peer reviewed and accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings indexed by IEEE Xplore and SCOPUS. At least one author must register and make the payment by May 15, 2012 for the paper to be included in the conference proceeding.
High quality papers will be shortlisted and considered for extended publication in special issues of the following international journals :
1. Special Issue on Information Science Research and Applications - Journal of Computers
2. Special Issue on Intelligent Cities and Systems - Journal of Computers
3. Special Issue on Human Factors and Ergonomics in Software Engineering - Journal of Software
4. Special Issue on Distributed Applications and Technologies in Data Communications and Network Systems - Journal of Networks
All of these journals are published by Academy Publisher and indexed by SCOPUS.
