CONVOCATION
SESSIONS
1. For this year’s convocation, there will be two sessions (morning & afternoon). Detail are as follow :
PAYMENT
1. Payment for the Convocation Ceremony & Dinner is as follow:

Convocation Ceremony only

- RM50.00

Convocation Ceremony and
Convocation Dinner - RM100.00
2. Payment
can be made starting from 1 August 2008 onwards,
once we activate the online registration.
ROBE
1. If you are
not able to collect the robe from 21
until 23 August 2008, you may authorise
your representative to collect it on your behalf.
He/She must produce the authorisation letter
signed by your goodself.
2. Robe must
be returned latest by 26 August 2008.
You are only allowed to collect your original
scroll after you have returned your robe.
3. Finance counter (Ground Floor, Chancellor Complex) will be opened on Saturday, 23rd August 2008 from 8.30am to 1.00pm. Credit card is accepted.
GUESTS FOR CONVOCATION CEREMONY
1. Each graduate
is allowed to bring two (2) guests (aged 12
years and above). For the benefit of other family
members, the ceremony will also be broadcast
live at Pocket D, Academic Complex.
INVITATION CARDS
1. Invitation
cards to the Convocation Ceremony and Convocation
Dinner will be distributed during the collection
of your Convocation Robe. However, you must
confirm your attendance to both events prior
to receiving the invitation cards.
ALUMNI
1. As a UTP
graduate, you are automatically an UTP ALUMNI
member. Therefore, please fill in the UTP ALUMNI
registration form as attached and submit it
at the robe counter during robe collection day.
A life time membership fee of RM20 is to be
paid when you submit the form.

PHOTOGRAPHY SERVICE DURING THE CONVOCATION CEREMONY
UTP has engaged
Chan Sam Lock Color Lab & Photo Service Sdn
Bhd (CSL) as the official photography service
provider during the Convocation Ceremony.
All payments
for the service can be made during the collection
of Convocation robe or during the collection
of the pictures at CSL in Ipoh. Full address

Students are
offered with two sets of photography packages
as follows: .
1. Classic Set ( Photograph of graduate receiving his/her scroll on stage) @ RM100.00 per set that consist of:

- 1 x 8R photo (landscape)

1 CD (landscape)
2. Family Set
( Studio Photograph of graduate and family members
) @ RM130.00 per set (OPTION) that consist of:

1 x 11R photo (portrait) with frame without UTP logo
If a student requests for the photos to be delivered to his/her respective address, he/she shall make additional payment to CSL for the courier service charges.
SPECIAL COMMEMORATIVE FRAME WITH UTP LOGO
UTP has engaged
Acia Global Technology Sdn. Bhd. (AGTSB) to
be the sole supplier for a special commemorative
frame with UTP logo for the 8th Convocation
Ceremony. Details of the company are as below:
