Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) or its equivalent |

SPM holders must undergo UTP Foundation Programme (Engineering)*

To be eligible for UTP Foundation Programme (Engineering) applicants must obtain at least a grade of 4B in 5 subjects including English, Mathematics, Additional Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. Candidates must obtain at least a grade of 6C in Bahasa Melayu. The total units of these subjects, not including Bahasa Melayu, must not be more than 18 units. |

Applicants must obtain a final CGPA of 3.00/4.00 or equivalent in the physical science stream. |

GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS |

In order to graduate with the Bachelor degrees, students are required to:
• Pass National and University Requirements courses including Co-Curriculum
• Undergo 8 months industrial internship programme at relevant companies
• Fully meet the attendance requirement for classes and examinations
• Obtain a minimum of 136 units and CGPA of 2.00 for engineering programme; and a minimum of 120 units and CGPA of 2.00 for technology programme. |

Science, Islamic/Moral Studies, Physics, Additional Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology. Candidates must obtain at least a grade of 6C in Bahasa Melayu. The total units of these subjects, not including Bahasa Melayu, must not be more than 18 units. |
